This is the second part of my series about clothes and shoes for outdoor use. In the meantime i throw a link or two for GPS and compass as i think they’re essencial to outdoor photography.
Columbia is a well know brand of outdoor clothing. I’ve been using their products for quite some time and i’m a fan of their stuff. Expensive but long lasting are the two main characteristics of Columbia clothing and shoes. Be warned about their 100% nylon line of clothing: it stains very easily and is a pain to clean.

Coronel Tapiocca is another brand of outdoor clothing, but it lacks the experience and technical expertise that other brands have. But their clothes are good, can survive a few years and are very comfortable. For the price what more can you ask?

In the last post about this theme, i talked about the Magellan Crossover GPS, a new model that combines a road and an outdoor GPS in one handy device. I bought one but it’s too soon to make assumptions about the performance of the product.
Garmin makes wonderful products and if you already have one road GPS in your car, it makes sense to buy another to outdoor activities.
